Thermal vision analysis
Thermal vision analysis shows the temperature distribution on the PV module. This method can detect areas with power loses.
Detectable defects:

Resistive losses in soldered contacts and in connectors.

Local shunts in the structure of PV cell.

Defective or forward-biased bypass diode.

Significant differences in performance of individual PV cell within one PV module.

Damage of individual PV cells caused by frequent shading.
The Results of the test are the colour images, where different colours corresponding to different temperatures.
